Day 1 consisted mostly in unpacking the extremely large crate, setting
up the various fixtures, including leveling in every conceivable
direction, and inventorying the parts. And there are MANY parts. Each
part is tagged, cataloged, counted and marked. Very, Very, Very
PROFESSIONAL. The manual, on the other hand, still has many miles to
go, and I'm trying to work out how to digest the manual so that I can
understand, and not just follow step-by-step. It's daunting, and it's
going to be a long process. I'm including shots of the shop, the
parts, and to make the FAA happy that it's really me building this
kit, a picture of me in front of the kit... that's what one EAA guy
told me to do to help document my 51%.
