Cub Crafters and Mitch Travis
I wanted to add a note to the blog to, sort of, catch up on the state of things thus far. I've pretty much completed the fuselage kit, with the exception of the fuel system, that I've had to re-do several times due to a combination of my misunderstandings and a lack of proper documentation. But I wanted to take the time to note one outstanding individual, that has made this process possible - Mitch Travis. Mitch is running the program for the Carbon Cub at Cub Crafters, and is my main interface for parts, documentation, and support. And by support, I mean SUPPORT. Without Mitch, I would not have made it anywhere near this far, and his constant patient help is the key to the success I've had thus far. If it wasn't for Mitch, I probably would think twice about doing this project, and Cub Crafters would not have a product without his contributions that have taken some factory manuals, parts, and "tribal knowledge" and turned them into a PRODUCT.
Thanks, Mitch, and I look forward to a successful finish on this project... feel better.
